The car park charges a £5 fee for overnight stays, which seemed off, considering usual practices at other spots. The hotel's location feels detached, with no local attractions within walking distance, making the need for transport necessary.

burnside is in a perfect location, just a 5-minute walk to ann hathaway's cottage. the deluxe double room was exceptionally clean with a comfy bed, powerful shower, and lovely soft towels. the staff were friendly and helped make our stay relaxing.

The service was friendly, but I had an issue with the radiator in the bathroom—it didn't work. the staff quickly addressed the problem, which I appreciated. it was a pleasant night despite a few small hiccups.
